We are a small public school for children age 6 -15. The school is located in a small village Hovorcovice. There are about 250 students in the primary and secondary school and 20 teachers. The school is very active in integration of modern teaching methods into their curriculum. We cooperate with a local educational project for teachers‘ training called Ucitel Nazivo (Teach Live). We focus on developing creative thinking and the ability to recognize answers to questions in context. International projects are an important part of it and that is the main motivation for us to prepare this project. We would like to create and strengthen the partnership bonds in the area of language teaching, to work on new working practices and to develop an innovative English learning program. We would like to add new experience and good habits to the daily routine of language learning and teaching. We would like to share the best practices of teaching languages and to work with the social, linguistic and cultural diversity. Our other goals are to develop the project participants‘ creativity, skills of communication, teamwork, organisation, decision-making, their intercultural experience and fluency in English. We would like to improve ICT skills of the project participants and to implement foreign languages in other school subjects. We would like also to strengthen relationship between students and teachers and engage parents and other family members in school life.
